How do I sign-up or activate my Member Access account?
All ASCAP writer and publisher members have a Member Access account waiting at https://members.ascap.com/. You can only activate your account from the ASCAP website through your PC or MAC.

No, the download is free and there are no costs to use the ASCAP Mobile App.
I'm not an ASCAP member. Can I use the ASCAP Mobile App?
Sure. The ASCAP Mobile App has lots of important and informative information within the "News" section and you can search the entire ASCAP repertoire using "ACE".
Is the password for Member Access in the ASCAP Mobile App the same as my Member Access password?
Yes.
How do I cancel or delete the ASCAP Mobile App?
Simply follow the instructions for deleting any App from your Apple device. Touch the icon and hold it for 3 seconds and then click the "x" which appears.
Why can't I search on Work ID and ISWC in the ACE part of the ASCAP Mobile App?
We have found that most people search for Titles, Writers and Publishers in ACE. These searches are still available from ACE through ASCAP.com. We may add those functions to the ASCAP Mobile App in a future version.

The ASCAP Mobile App is a handy tool to view your membership information, your catalog and your royalties. You can also search ACE and read the latest ASCAP news. Member Access is a full view into your ASCAP membership with update capability. Member Access allows you to communicate back and forth with ASCAP through Member Inquiries.
What is the difference between the ASCAP Mobile App and ASCAP.com?
The ASCAP Mobile App is a handy tool to view your membership information, your catalog and your royalties. You can also search ACE and read the latest ASCAP news. ASCAP.com is the main ASCAP website featuring information about ASCAP, ASCAP members, Licensing, Events, Governing documents, etc.
How do I e-mail my statement?
From the "My Royalties" section of the "Summary" page, "tap" on the distribution you would like to view and follow the instructions. You will receive an e-mail with a pdf of the statement of your choice attached. If you can access your e-mail from your device you can open up the pdf right there.
Why can't I expand the images in the news articles & screens in the App?
This App, like many other "Business Apps" does not support gesture zoom in/out functionality seen on other Apps. This feature may be added in the future if there is a demand for it.
Can I install the App on non-Apple devices?
Not yet but we hope to make the ASCAP Mobile App available across multiple devices.
Why can't I update information concerning my membership or catalog?
The ASCAP Mobile App is read only for now.
Does ASCAP plan a version of the App that will allow updates in the future?

Go to ASCAP,com and follow the link labeled "Join" on the home page.
I'm having trouble logging in to Member Access on the App. What should I do?
Make sure you are typing the username and password precisely as you would from a pc or Mac. If unsuccessful, try logging in to Member Access from your pc or Mac. If that doesn't work follow the instructions on the Member Access page by clicking on "Forgot Password?"
Does the App save my Member Access password to the iPhone, iPad or itouch?
No, it does not.
