ASCAP's global community of composers and songwriters continues to receive acclaim. ASCAP members and international affiliates highlighted the nominations for the 2008 World Soundtrack Awards, which will close out the Ghent International Film Festival on October 18, 2008 and will be followed by a live concert performance featuring the music of ASCAP composer Angelo Badalamenti, ASCAP/PRS composer Dario Marianelli, and ASCAP/SADAIC composers Daniel Tarrab and Andrés Goldstein.
