On Sunday, January 15th, ASCAP members Madonna, Julie Frost and Jimmy Harry emerged victorious from the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony. The trio shared the award for Best Original Song - Motion Picture for their song "Masterpiece," from the forthcoming romantic drama W./E., written and directed by Madonna.

This was the first Golden Globe for songwriter Julie Frost, who has written hit songs for the Black Eyed Peas ("Just Can't Get Enough"), Beyoncé ("Countdown"), Pitbull ("Castles Made of Sand") and Ed Sheeran ("Kiss Me"). Writer/producer/composer Jimmy Harry, whose resume includes work with Kylie Minogue, Kelly Clarkson, Weezer, Pink, Fischerspooner, Oh Land, and Santana, also won his first Golden Globe on Sunday. This was Madonna's second career Golden Globe. She won in 1996 for her portrayal of Eva Perón in the film adaptation of Evita.
